Last week, Women in Finance partnered 🤝 with CFA Society France for a panel discussion on “The future of Finance”.
Moderated by Fabienne Konik, President of Women In Finance France, we dove into the trends that are disrupting the Financial Sector and structuring the future of our industry : AI, Sustainable Investments, Diversity.... Whilst these can be seen as challenging topics to integrate in our practices, what came out of our exchanges was optimism!
The necessary shifts of the current models, the urge to invent new frameworks represent real opportunities - for business, people and society. It is this enthusiasm and positivity that came through our panelists’ contributions who, as women leaders shared how they integrate these new dimensions in their organisation.
A huge thanks to :
Margaret Franklin, CFA 🇨🇦 Global CEO of CFA Institute
Bettina Ducat 🇨🇠Co-Head Lombard Odier Investment Managers
Rose Ouahba 🇫🇷 Managing Director, Head of Distribution and Marketing, Carmignac for sharing their views and vision of the bright future of our industry.
When asked how they would summarise their posture looking ahead at the changes and disruptions to be navigated, this is what they shared back with us :
Bettina Ducat : “ I live by this motto taken from Mark Twain, the famous American writer : They did not know it was impossible so they did it! Dare!”
Rose Ouahba : “I should not have had the career path I have, I should not have been in this position I am holding. Throughout my personal and professional journey, I never followed the “norm”. Kill the norm!”
Margaret Franklin, CFA “The shift is systemic. You need to understand links and connections : understand System Thinking!”
Thank you to the 3 these visionary women for leading the change! Thank you to CFA Society France Alejandro Hiniesto, CFA Kenza M. for this partnership.
